Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse in Nova Scotia. This is nearby where my dad grew up (he is also an educator) and my grandparents still live there (my grandfather is also an educator, HAHA).
I am also a certified dance instructor through the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers. I have been assisting and teaching dance since the age of 13. I graduated this program in 2020 and am still working as a dance teacher and choreographer at Free Elements Dance Studio.
As many others did, I got a Pandemic Puppy in 2021! This is my sweet Golden Retriever, Holly. She is my little best friend, always adventuring with me and keeping me on my toes.
These are my lovely parents, both of which are educators. My mom has worked in elementary schools for the duration of her career (over 25 years) and has been my biggest inspiration in becoming an educator myself. This is a photo from my high school graduation in June, 2018.
This is a photo from my high school trip to Europe in 2017. We got to see France, Germany, England, the Netherlands and Belgium within the span of 10 days. It was a history-class based trip where we got to see museums, historical artifacts, and experience the different cultures and social practices of each country. This trip was one of the best experiences of my life!

Where do I have the privilege of learning?
I am fortunate to be a learner, worker, and community member on the unceded traditional Ts’msyen (Tsimshian) territory of the Kitsumkalum and Kitselas First Nations.
